[Ben]:Internet Explorer 7 beta Discuss This [0 comments so far] View Comments
I'm posting this through a copy of the IE7 Beta.

So far, it seems like a relatively decent browser (relative to IE6, anyhow). It pretty much adopts the features that Firefox and Opera have had for years ... about half as well. The integrated search only allows for a few providers compared to the list that Firefox supports. The tabbed browsing is functional, but not much beyond that. There appears to be some default add-on support, but it isn't as seamless as Firefox.

The one feature it does have that I like is the Quick Tabs which displays a small snapshot of each of your tabs so you can easily decide which one you're looking for.

I haven't tested it for security, but even if it is locked down tighter'n a Danish newspaper office in Tehran, it doesn't live up to the hype.
