[Ben]:Reasonable talk from the entertainment industry Discuss This [0 comments so far] View Comments
From an article by Wheel of Fortune host Pat Sajak
If any group of citizens is uniquely unqualified to tell someone else how to vote, it’s those of us who live in the sheltered, privileged arena of celebrityhood.

Well said, Sajak.

Along somewhat similar lines, on last night's episode of The Unit, one of the team members was having some trouble dealing with the concept of killing. He approached the base Chaplain and made mention that the Bible says "thou shalt not kill." The Chaplain corrected him, telling him that what it actually says is "thou shalt not murder" and that the Hebrew words have a very distinct meaning. The Chaplain also said that people who say that all killing is bad are only able to hold that position because they hire others to protect them.

Right on, Padre, right on. That's not the kind of talk you hear very often on TV.
